Hrmmmm, this is going to sound like a rather strange suggestion but what the hell. I work in a call centre where we're currently implementing COPC procedures/policies etc.
One of these is document version control. I'm suggesting perhaps the mod's with the help of forum members create a standardised list of "Classic" beers/ales. And version control it.
It'd be fantasticly useful for newbs, like myself. Like others I bought a copy of "Brewing classic styles" by Jamil Zainasheff. It's a damn good book, good starting point.
But it is rather americanised, there's a lot you can't get your hands on at the local DMs or Lackofbeersland.
Thoughts?
