Chest Freezer Coils

I recently got my hands on a 200L chest freezer that I plan on making in to a keezer.

Turned it on today to test it was working and it seemed fine but I noticed that the silver/foil edge was only frost up along the top half the the freezer.

Are the freezer coils only located in the top half? or should I be concerned that the lower coils aren't working?

Any advice appreciated.

mine only used to frost up on the top half then it was the top 3" when it wasnt running right. it should be fine I wouldnt worry

this is fine, it happens like that also because its the closest point of contact for moisture (opening and closing lid)

Thanks for the replies, for the life of me I couldn't find an answer with google, feel a lot better about my purchase now.

CO2 arrives tomorrow and then I get to force carb 2 beers i've had sitting and conditioning for everything to be ready.
