Apologies for dodgey phone photos.

$40 for 40L sounds hard to beat. Quality did look on par with the price though.
Has anyone got one? converted it? How would it go?

I've got one that I use standing on it's end as a "cool room" for my 15L fermenter with some small ice bricks :D

Given how well it works at keeping the temp down, it seems to have insulating properties.

I'd say it'd make a good tun for sure :)

PZ.

looks great to me, was looking for something like this last week, couldn't find one at that price so decided to go the keg mash tun instead.

If your looking for a mash tun I'd grab it if I was you.

careful some eskys dont seem to use food grade plastic (or so I've heard) - the way to test this is to make sure its clean - ie soak it in whatever soaker you normally use overnight - then rinse thouroughly and fill with hot water. Wait overnight again and taste in the morning to see if you cant detect any off/plasticky flavours in the water...
