Hi everyone, im pretty new to all this. f? i have been to all my local shops and the pretty pricy. Did some searching on the net. Cheapest site i could find was www.aussiebrewer.com.au, is this site safe? or am i better off just shopping at the local. any help would be appreciated

Well... those kits they sell on that site are Brewcraft branded... so I would start at Brewcraft as they'd likely be cheaper selling their own product. Though it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't.

Nah, went on to there site, more expensive...go figure, they sell more then brewcraft. What i really want to know is it safe of the net? nyone been scammed before buying stuff online?

Hmm... looks like you're looking for wholesale?

There's always risks buying things online.

Smiling_jordan may be able to offer you some assistance, as they seem to the retailer in question and link to that website in their profile.

Hahahahhahah just cracked the case.

Smiling_jordan actually owns aussiebrewer.com.au, (check the user's posts). I'm guessing he/she wanted feedback on the site and/or information about getting cheaper stock, accidentally posted under the wrong username.

Big whoops :)

Nice clean looking website, haven't compared the prices though.

Similar domain name, perhaps wanting to pick up some accidental traffic for people looking for this forum? <_<

Accidentally posted under a wrong forum name? Smileface only signed up this morning 11 mins before their 1st post.

So this retailer has more than one sign in name?

Thats pretty dodgy? Surely retailers are required to be open about what they do in this site rather than cruise around spruiking their business in the guise of one of the regular joes?

Would be very surprised (and very disappointed) if this is allowed to go on...

I'm sure they'll be cleared of any wrong doing once the IP addresses are compared in the logs.

The site is mostly still equipment and goo cans anyhow, same old stuff. Guess there's big business in distilling small quantities of water with elaborate setups :)

Moderators investigating. Will close this thread to save and further embarrassment in the meantime.
