Hi all,

I know this is going to go against everything most people here stand for, myself included, but what is the cheapest brew you've ever done that has had at least reasonable to decent results. I generally do partial mashes with specialty malts and DME, but I have a box of Cooper's Brew Enahncer 1 that I don't want to use in a 'good' batch that I'll spend time and effort on getting it right. I've also seen Home Brand Lager in Woolies for $8, which got me thinking with the knowledge I have in the home brewing process, I could use these, add a touch more DME and dextrose with hops in a boil and come out with a potentially average to decent brew for under $20. This is my plan anyway, With this context in mind, this is an opportunity for you all to have a brag: how cheap have you been able to make a reasonable brew?
