Exactly what is the nature of your experiment? Then we can offer more advice...

too see if it's a waste of time to wait three days v 1 hour for very little gain in taste ect ? (kit n kilo for now i will be going extract fwiw)

Are you talking about force carbing vs regular carbing?

why wait 1 hour? matti told me you can force carb and wait 10 minutes and then pour, he was right, so now I do that when I'm desperate (almost each time I force carb!)

as long as the keg is cold, force carb for 50-60 seconds at 300kPA, wait 10 minutes, purge and set to pouring pressure and drink!

:chug:

Okay I've found the differences between force carbing and natural carbing...

Force carbing
- Drink beer 20 minutes after kegging it (provided you crashed chill in the fermenter)
- Risk of over carbing, particularly the first time.
- You're tempted to drink your beer too soon before it's had a chance to age a bit

Natural carbing
- Heaps easier
- No chance of over carbing if you've set your reg right
- Forces you to wait a few days so your beer will taste better
