Canuck's Kit and Kilo Kolsch

So I dunno if I've gone off the deep end with this one but here we go:

1 x can Coopers original Lager
1 x Kilo "Blue Tongue Blend" from Laughing Lizard brewery (part DME part dex)
1 x Wyeast 2565 Kolsch yeast

Interested to see what a specialty yeast can do for an otherwise unexciting recipe. Been in primary for 24 hours now and the krausen is HUGE!

i love the kolsch yeast. very versitile. i get great faux lagers at 15. if youre looking for fruity, pump it up to 20

I'm looking forward to it for sure. I'm doing it for the GOLDCLUB K&K night in September and I wanted to make a beer that was within the rules but still not boring swill. The krausen is MASSIVE though. I'm fermenting 23L in a 30L plastic primary and it's to the roof! Is that normal?
