Can't say I have it either. I am sending them a nasty gram today to tell them to get knoted, as they are trying to charge me for a subscription for a year, when all I did was apply for the one free one to see if I was going to subscribe and that never showed.

In SA:
- BYO is usually received in the mail here before their website has the new issue.
- Zymurgy usually takes until the next issue is listed on their website.
They obviously have different shipping methods. The BYO postage cost for a year's subscription costs more than the subscription itself. Zymurgy are obviuosly more shrewd and use migratory birds to send to Australia to reduce the cost.

Plus, as mentioned above, the postage cost exceeds the subscription price. How do they do that? I'm not gonna tell them, though...spoil a good thing.

as weiz stated, i'm pretty sure the free issues trial is only for the US.
i think i tried when i sarted and they advised me of that.
i'd suggest just going with the subscription, once you get one you will want more... great dunny reading.!

Yes I put my order in straight after doc (IIRC) said, that he got a free one. Nothing ever arrived but they want to charge me a subscription for nothing I ever received. I already sent them $6us and told them never to disturb me again. I don't even know why I sent them any money at all for something I never got.
thats weird.... i had great service and correspondence.
the way i read the advert, is that its not free anyway.
you order the "free" one.. and if you then like the mag, you subscribe... and then that issue becomes the first of your 8.
if you are skeptical of purchasing, their website has quite a few of their articles so you can get an idea of what you will recieve.

yeah,
it is interesting - byo normally arrives in Sydney at least a week prior to the month - which is great however not this time....
Zymurgy......just kills me....months later.....it may turn-up - being a sucker for punishment I ended up getting a 3 yr subscription....
