Guys is it possible to buy the parts to control a burner much like an instant gas hot water heater? something without a pilot that ignites the gas when required shuts off when not required has flame out etc.
Obviously its possible but where do I go to start looking for such controllers?

OK Im thinking that something like
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HONEYWELL-Y8610...=item2eb21f7a1f
combined with a digital temp sensor like the STC1000 (example only) to take water temps could get me on my way to a LP fired brewery with automatic temp controlling.
Seems a bit pricey though when you can get small auto ignition LPGas caravan tankless hotwater services for similar money - maybe time to buy one to use as a donor...

thanks Zwickel I'll check that unit out!
(I should have refreseh before posted)

Going down the AG/brutus route myself, hitting the same problems. Does anyone know if those honeywell valves that are being sold on ebay, like this one will work here? They're rated at 24Vac/60Hz, but I want to run it on a 24Vac/50Hz power supply.
