Thats supposed to be "Drum smoked"
I smoked some bacon wrapped beef burgers on sunday, result is very tasty, juicy burgers, family reckons there grouse
unfortunately I did not have any brew ready so had to settle for SBM (shop bought muck) instead, got a box of Konig Pilsner, not a bad drop.
The burgers where served between bread with cheese, lettuce and tomatoe, very very tasty
and here's the recipe.
My Bacon wrapped smoked beef burgers
1kilo beef mince
packet of dry French onion soup mix
1 diced onion
1 egg
Bacon rashers
Mix dry soup mix, egg and diced onion in a bowl and form into patties, wrap in bacon and put in the smoker.
My smoker started at 180F and got up to 260F 1 hours later (I was sorting out the tackle box and having a few quite ones so did not check the smoker too often),
I used 1 biscuit of plum tree wood 1 inch thick by 3 inches.
Burgers where very tasty, juicy and very very nice.
