Evening quaffers,

Me mate BribieG, who lives around the corner, and whose AG beers are a
veritable delight, has recently had a huge win in the Brisbane Brewers comp.

First place Bitter with a Special Bitter
First place Dark Ales with a Mild
Third place Stout/Porter with a Foreign Extra Stout
Champion Brewer 2009

The bottles are Brazilian Champagne Beer worth about $120 per bottle.

Well done BG, a deserving win. :icon_cheers:

Congrats Michael, I was edumacated about BIAB by this craftsman and he knows his stuff.. now he has proof :D

AAARGH home invasion! Dave (the Big Burper) was round for our usual weekly pissup and I didn't know he had a camera on him until I saw the flash  Also Cannibal Smurf has also stood in my garage as well when I did my first AG and he hoisted the bag for me, seems like only yesterday !
Keep on bagging, baggers :icon_drunk:

Good on ya Bribie. Thats awesome! :icon_cheers:
Daz

Big ups BribieG. Could not have gone to a better more decent bloke and for that matter a better brewer. :icon_cheers:

Now you better get cracking on the QABC and AABC entries me mate... i think you have right of passage for entry? And time is a ticking and a certain nay sayer starting with M... well lets just say you put one of those Brazilians aside so you can stick it somewhere unmentionable sideways up that certain someone puncy arse with a clenched fist BribieG (oh and I am available to help! :beerbang: )

Cheers Mate enjoy and congrats again (see ya Sunday)

Big Cheers Mate

Awesome BribieG - huge grats mate!

Might have to start to listen to what you say in your posts :p

Seriously though, good work!

:icon_cheers:

So does this mean the NATS are next on your list Michael?

:) Although the vindaloo is usually beef here and on second thought you might get plied with so much Mead you might not even be able to stagger up to the event :p

Good on ya for the wins!

Cheers,
Brewer Pete

Well done.
:)
Alway good to hear about achivements.

Applause ! Good on you, BribieG.

Well deversed points for the growing BAIB crew. Pish-Posh to the naysayers !

Points also for the concept of new all-grainer's setting the world on fire (OK, one club at a time). If I recall, you've only been doing it for a few months, after many years of extract brewing ?
