Brewing in Berlin

I'm wondering if anybody has any experience / connections / ideas about the brewing scene in Berlin. I have been living here for 4 months now, and am missing brewing like crazy, but am at a loss as to how I might be able to get my foot in the door here. I am studying German language intensively, as I figure that if I'm able to eventually find work in a brewery or something beer related I will benefit from having the language. So that's the first step. I'm also considering studying a “Brewing and Beverage Technology“ Bachelor or Brewmaster. Though the logistics of studying abroad I've yet to investigate...

So, basically, I'm all ears! Anything ya got would be helpful!
