I have made a Farmhouse Ale, and now wish to dump an IPA on the yeast cake..
Shouild I use a cup of slurry ? Or just dump it onto the yeast cake..
It would also be nice to save some for future batch's..

Cheers

depends on your gravity as to how much you need..

Why not rinse a few jars, then you have clean yeast to store and another to pitch,

Collect 100ml of clean yeast, then if your pitch rate = 60ml you can simply pitch 60% of that jar..

or pitch the rinsed yeast to a 1lt (gravity depending) starter and pitch at high activity.
