Blackberry witbier - advice wanted on how much and when!

Hi all,
I am thinking of brewing a blackberry witbier while there is plenty of blackberries around to pick. I haven't done a fruit / berry beer before so I have a couple of questions.

1/ When is the best time to add them - end of boil, start of primary or during secondary?

2/ How much to add for a standard batch (19L keg)?

3/ Anything else that I should think about?
