Picked up my burner from Cellar Plus in north melbourne

http://www.casagarden.it/199-247-thickbox/...re-in-ghisa.jpg

$95 for the burner/stand
$35 for a medium pressure regulator (2.5kg / hr)

Now I just need the pot and other goodies..

Did come across: http://www.craftbrewer.com.au/shop/details.asp?PID=3265

Bit blingy, but might have to get it anyway :)

Craftbrewer also sell the urn site glass kits as well. Have many people added a site glass for easy measuring for their pot?

Thats what I ended up grabbing. had the reglator set to setting 1 and it went nuts. Boiled 20L in around 12-14 minutes, I shoved a cube with 5L of sanitiser on top of my makeshift lid to help it along as well. So enjoy that burner :D
I used the burners built in reg to give it a bit of a lower boil once I had things going (This was for my ginger beer)

Rang up Enzed about a 1/4" to 1/2" converter so i can source a temp guage here....

They are pricing me up one of those site guage type thingies to custom make... Should be interesting :)

I keep meaning to ask you guys what you use as a brew stand, especially you double batchers?
Up until now I have just been doing single batches and when the boil has finished I just lift it up onto the work bench for the drain into the cube.

I was thinking of some dodgy contraption involving two metal sawhorses and a bit of luck....for now.

What do you guys use?
