OK I have a couple of new filter housing at home,if you could pump from the fermenter. through a filter and into the keg I'll be interested.
Otherwise I could not be bothered with the double handling, compared with waiting a week.
(Surely there's a "Ross" method of doing this)

Ross, i checked out your site for the filter. WHere can i get a housing??, bunnins etc??. I have seen similar ones at a water tank place, but i want to gt the right one hahah
Connect your March pump to the out tap of your fermenter with a length of racking hose - easy![]()
cheers Ross
Sorry Norm, it was a bit tongue in cheek, though Zwickel I believe was using a March pump.
As Warren says, a pump at this stage is going to be difficult to use without introducing oxygen into your beer.
If you could pressurise your fermenter with 20 to 40kpa you could filter under CO2 pressure with no problem - Would be great rigged up to a S/S conical![]()

Wher's the 02 coming from?
Should not be any in your fermenter and surely you will gravity prime the pump, purge the master keg with C02
