Hi all,
I am interested in evaluating the variability of beers' energy contents, and recall that a recipe that I perused on here recently, (exported from one of the brewing programmes we all use) had a energy value per litre at the bottom of the readout.

I cannot find this function within Promash, so I wondered if anyone knew which programme actaully had this read out..?

Cheers

Beersmith also has the calories/L calculated for each recipe.

I tend to find after a few beers I lack energy though - I think the calculator must be wrong ;)

Being a Promash user I go for a simpler option...

I just walk up to SWMBO and ask her;

Does this beer make my bum look big? :beerbang:

Special relativity tells us that 500g of beer contains approximately 44,938,000,000 MJ of energy, enough to create about an 11 megatonne explosion if you could somehow convert the entire 500g mass to energy. :D

Thankfully, short of stuffing it down a conveniently located black hole, or colliding it with an anti-glass of anti-beer, I can't see that happening. :ph34r:
