Beer Busts Gangsters

It seems the monster sting that has netted 800 arrests worldwide began with a conversation between AFP and FBI agents over beers. Never would have happened if they'd been sipping chardonnay. Instead, they would have discussed how the Venus de Milo lost her arms or the traveling Picasso exhibit.

If they had stayed a bit more sober (unlikely, as they were probably on the taxpayers credit card) they would have been smart enough to keep their methods secret instead of big- noting themselves about catching a handful, meanwhile countless others will get that little bit smarter.

It probably has/will shortly be revealed in court somewhere how they intercepted certain information, so they may as well try to claim some glory from it.
