Babbs November Meeting

Brisbane Amateur Beer Brewers (BABBs) November meeting will be held Thursday November 27th, 2008 at Lynndon Park Bowls Club, Galsworthy Street, Holland Park, Qld. Arrive 7:30pm for an 8:00pm start.

Entry fee of $6.00 covers hall hire & snacks; BYO beer to share and compare.

Visitors are always welcome

As this is also our End of Year Break Up please bring a plate of food to share.

As tradition dictates this meeting also presents the Commercial vs. Home Brew Taste-off.

So as well as our own product should we bring a Melbourne Bitter :icon_drunk: or something or does the club provide the commercials?

Kilojoule warning: I will bring my killer and I mean killer sausage rolls from me Mam's recipe. And tomato sauce.

It's usually set up with 3x Home brew and 3x Commercial samples (all provided) and a prepared sheet with the 6 "Brands" and as each comes out you mark your sheet with what it is. Needless to say the "Brands"/Styles are close so it's not so straight forward. Just a bit of fun really - a bit embarrassing if you choose the commercials as the gun Home brews tho!
