Babbs February Meeting

Brisbane Amateur Beer Brewers (BABBs) monthly meeting will be held Thursday February 24, 2011 at Lynndon Bowls Club, Galsworthy Street, Holland Park West, Qld.

Please note: Early Start Arrive 7:00pm for 7.30pm start. Presentation kicks off at 8:00pm sharp.

Visitors are always welcome. Bring along a few tallies to share and compare.

This month due to it being a special night visitors will be charged $5 at the door.

BABBs are in the fortunate position of having a guest speaker from the Professional Brewing Industry giving a presentation to our members (and guests) which will be followed by a Q&A session.

The Topic: BEER STABILITY
The Presenter: VINCE COSTANZO

Following Vinces presentation and Q&A session, Costa Nikias (Microbrewery Installation Project Manager) will be giving a short presentation on his area of expertise - Microbrewery Installations.

Everyone who is attending the BABBs February meeting this week, starting thinking and writing down all those questions you'd love answers for and topics you'd love to discuss about the professional / home-brewing world.

After Vince's presentation and Beer Stability Q&A, it would be great to open up the floor for more general questions and discussions on all the current burning issues and all things brewing.....

UPDATE: Costa Nikias who was a late addition to the evening has unfortunately had to pull out at short notice.
However, Vince is here & will be happy to step in for him if anyone wants any brewery info.

We are hoping that Vince will be bringing his brewing course to Brisbane, so anyone who's keen on doing a brewery course, please make sure you turn up tonight to lodge your interest & ask questions.

Thanks to Vince for his presentation last night.
A bit of an eye openner for me seeing the commercial side, scale and problems they deal with.
I got a few good tips and points that I'll put into practice where I can.
