Are These Bottles Safe To Use?

Before they go into the recycling bin, are these bottles safe to use? They are a mix of Pickaxe brand & XXXX longnecks that were given to me by a mate, so no skin of my nose if they get chucked.

The chips are only on the flat top, not on the edges. My concern (other than potentially being weakened) was they may not seal properly.

There's about a dozen like this, the rest all look perfect despite their age.
 
I reckon they'd be ok. Whats the worst that could happen? A few flat tallies...

I Had acquired a few bottles that were in a similar condition.
The bloke I got them off had put a couple of hundred brews on. they seemed to work fine.
the other thing he used to do was re-use twist tops on the crown seals, said he only had one or 2 flat tallies over the duration of using them - but he sad that was more than likely because he didn't prime them.

Have not tried them my self!
 
That face is the gasket face, so if there are any chips that go right across the surface from inside to outside, I reckon you could have the potential for a leak.
