Hi all,

I'm interested in doing an APA (my first), and I also wanted to use the batch as a chance to use up some of the odds and ends I have floating around. So the other week I bought 80 grams of Chinook and some US-05 yeast. This is going to be a partial with dried malt extract.

Apart from these 2 essentials I have the following lying around:

- A heap of generic LDME which will be the base malt
- Carared - few hundred grams
- Caraaroma - few hundred grams
- Joe white crystal - half a kilo or so
- also have chocolate malt and roast barley but I dont think these are going to be much help for an APA.

Aside from the chinook I've got some:

- Pride of Ringwood (thinking of using this for bittering)
- Northdown
- Tettenang

Any suggestions? I'm thinking of a 25 litre batch size. Ive done a bit of reading up on APAs but it'd be nice to hear a few more thoughts. I'm looking to make it hoppy, but not insanely so, or insanely bitter. I've got an idea of where I want to go with this but any input is appreciated.
