Yeah, Ive had the vial for a few months. Picthed it this morning into a 2L starter of 1.040 wort and there has been no action at all when i checked it. I was a bit nervous about the colour and the lack of action, but I guess if the colour is expected, i should relax a little and be more patient given the age of the vial?

Cheers

i had never used this yeast until Wolfy threw me a sample, i brewed thisvery nice beer, having not used 1469 I cant compare, but as far as doing what it says it does i.e 70% attentuation (watch your recipe), it does. It was a keg that got drunk very quickly.
I did save a cpbf bottle for Vicbrew. To my uneducated palate, top yeast!

FAIL FAIL, no luck, about 36 hours since I pitched the yeast into a 2L starter of about 1.040 wort and no love. The SG hasnt dropped at all  Lucky I had the sense to cube the Tripel just in case. Like I said prior, i had the yeast for a few months, cant guarantee the freshness of it, when it arrived on my doorstep though. I have another vial (german hefeweizen, will give that a go soon and hopefully I have more favourable results.

Cheers
