Hi Guys
FYI

I watched Catalyst episode on iVIEW the other night. Quite interesting. Ship wreck off the coast of Tasmania where there was a few bottles of beer that had been preserved for 200 years. They managed to harvest the yeast from a few bottles. Amazing how it could survive that long. It took a few weeks I think to get it going on yeast stirring plate. It seems the yeast did not fit in Ale or lager type, but something like the Monks used in Belgium or Europe somewhere. I wonder if the yeast changed its profile in that time? Worth watching...
Be interesting to know if they are going to make it commercially available? It seems the Wine Industry ran the tests and research, so anyone's guess.
cheers
