Anyone Got Arduino Smoker Controller

Hey,

I have seen a lot of Arduino controlled brew rigs with PID/Temp to control SSR etc I was wondering if anyone has modified theirs to control a auto smoker controller (Im looknig for a ugly drum smoker).

I've had a look around the net for a off the shelf but they're mad prices.. From what I've seen it wouldn't be much different.. sensor for PIT(fire) which controls a fan box.

Mega or Uno < $20
SSR < $10
Stainless temp probe < $10
Fan... old DC type?

20 lines of code... done.

you'd have to use PID though so you dont over shoot.. that fit in 20lines?

There's a PID library available.

Otherwise you could use a chepa PID knock off on ebay < $30 and a stainless thermocouple ...
