Another world cup thread

This time for field hockey. Surprisingly underrated considering how good we are at it ( and have been for years).
Both men's and women's teams in final against netherlands. Women lost 2-0 earlier, men currently 2-1 up in the first half.

3rd post in a row but fuckit. 6-1 win to kookaburras to retain their title as world champions. Hockeyroos runners up so good results all round. Also my futsal team won 7-0 so it's celebrations as far as the eye can see.

Hats off to ric charlesworth. Consistent results no matter which side he coaches. Someone clone him.

Heard an in depth interview with him a year or so ago, amazing bloke. Rare to see someone so respected across so many sports.
