I owe my mate a favour, and he has asked me to brew him a light beer

I've had a look at some recipes but I'm not really sure what to make?

It needs to be light/mid strength, but I want it to be full bodied and have good flavour, just like a full strength beer

Most lights I've ever drank are thin and crap!!

Can anyone suggest a good recipe to make?

Dark mild.
Best bitter.

What ABV percentage? I have a dark mild that's at about 3.8 that could be tweaked back to around 3 with some fiddling.

+1 for Manticle's dark mild. Have brewed a few variations of it and all have been great.

Also have a house apa that is mid strength. Is thinner than the mild but still has great flavour.

Nicks rifle dark mild is as good as mine..
Lol

Dr Smurto's Light Amber is a great one, really can't tell it's a light beer in body and flavour. My version on tap at the moment is 2.8%.

Another good one I have done (was around 4% so not really that light) was Tony's LC Bright Ale Clone mashed high (69c from memory).
