Hi fam,

Sydney has hit lager-brewing temperatures now.

I've got Coopers Euro Lager kit, 1kg of BE.

First time brewing a lager. Would you advise making a yeast starter.

Wanted to try an experience Hallertau but saw online that dry hopping Hallertau/Saaz is gonna make everything "grassy".

Need advice to get the most out of Hallertau's flavour and aroma. How much grams at 23Litres? Do i dry hop anyway? Do i do hop additions at boils and if so whats the recommended schedule. Or is using a hop tea method better?

Dry hop after fermentation has settled down. Plenty of lagers are dry-hopped. See how it goes with maybe 15gms at first. You'll read alot of stuff about this and that. Everyone's an expert. Experience is the best teacher in my expert opinion.
