2009 Hop Swap

Well, my first rootling has died back and is now ready for a swap. Its quite a healthy specimen and would probably produce flowers this comming year.

Its a Cascade, I am looking for a fuggles or a perle, but will consider others for sure. I already have a Mt Hood lined up via Quintrex and already have Cascade, Goldings, Tettnang, POR & Chinook so wont be needing them.

Let me know whether you want it and what you want to swap for it! Oh, the boot is a size 9 so that gives you an idea on the size of the rhizome.

I will have some available in about 6-8 weeks. Still a bit too early to dig mine up.
I am hoping to be able to post for $10 each for regular AHB members. Mainly POR this season.

I have columbus and chinook rhizomes.

I want to give them a few more weeks before digging them up and dividing.

I got about 1/2 a kilo of each after drying this year, not bad for the first year

Q , seein i made the first offer to fraser john , id better let him have the option , theyre quite small , cuttings i took in spring , they grew into small climbers and are dying off now , dont see why they wont survive and grow again next year, if fraser john doesnt want it ,then it will be yours...

Thats cool barra, wouldn't dream of interfering. Just thought I'd put my offer out there as moray mentioned he has columbus as well.

I believe amarillo is a proprietary variety which is the reason why you don't find rhizomes available for sale...

Have a Perle in a pot from last year (cutting), didn't plant it out, has grown this season in the pot and is now dying back, wan't it? PM me, will probably have some chinook etc as well.

I will be after Cascade and other US or UK varieties (not Goldings).

I have Chinook, Columbus, POR, Hersbruker, Cluster I can poach some material from. I don't want to dig the whole rhizome up and divide as they are establishing, but I have layered some bines and should be able to pull something from any of these. I will obviously accept a smaller viable rhizome or viable material in return.
