Hi all,
I prepared my first stout brew and it 42 litres went into the fermenter on 28/06/19, I used 2 x wyeast 1084 and set temperature to 19C. OG is 1.052 and target FG is 1.013.
After 11 days, I noticed that it hadn't moved from 1.019 so I cranked temp up to 22C.
3 days later, it still hadn't moved from 1.019, so I added 10g of US05 yeast, cranked temp to 23C.
5 days later its still bubbling away, and gravity is now 1.006.
Do you think I should just let it keep going, or should I start cooling the fermenter?
Its sort of worrying me a bit, fermentation has now been going for 20 days now.
