Yeah sorry read the site wrong. 2500 ish would be a bloody good price
Would it ever!
If that's correct it's less than most second hand ones sell for. :beerbang: :super: :kooi:

I get $2672 with the 20% discount and adding the extra $100 onto their advertised price of $3240.

3340 - 3340 *.2 = $2672

the G&G prices on the website now appears to include the sale price. So full price is $3,600, sale price is $3240 and old model run out price is somewhere in the range of $2,800-2,880 (I imagine the 20% discount may apply to the old price, so $2,800).

I do BIAB, yes.

I'm not happy with some inconsistencies I get with BIAB, generally related to volumes and boil off rates - which can differ in a gas fired unit. And I'd like the ability to do hassle free step mashes and wort recirculation.

I'd like to improve my consistency, add step mashing and remove a naked flame (gas) in the brewery.
The two biggest advantages I find with a BM is ease of use and consistency. Consistency is under-rated in my opinion, but when you finally get that beer just right, it is good to know you can brew it again and expect similar (not identical) results.

I get almost perfect consistency, step mashes are a breeze and I don't have any naked flames. If BIAB in an urn were any easier I'd probably just get so bored I'd head off to the bottlo for a slab of Bavaria anyway.
