Long weekend here and little more than climate change, Covid and the Melbourne Cup on free-to-air TV. So I’m browsing some familiar YouTube channels.

‘Bald and Bankrupt’ is one. Funny bloke, and brave (or foolish?) too.

A week or so ago he went looking for a beer in Siberia and meets some local yokels.

I went looking for a drink in Mongolia once - not that far away. This is what I found.

He’s on the piss again, now in Lithuania. Starts off with a few home brewed beers at a kebab shop. Ends up on the harder stuff in the home of an ex-crim (ex?). Takes his hired Mongolian bodyguard mate with him. Finds his way home on public transport. Almost sounds familiar.
