    NEIPA yeast

I doubt the yeast matters when your dumping in a tonne of hops. I've used 1469 because I had it on hand. Tastes good.

Cube chilling- possible alternative to hop additions

I throw everything from the kettle into the cube and then everything from the cube into the fermenter. Crash chill for a couple of days at 1*C and add gelatine and the beer comes out crystal clear with no off flavours.

Cube chilling- possible alternative to hop additions

I do a 60 minute addition for the bitterness level I want. At the end of the boil I let it cool to 80 degrees in the kettle with the lid off (takes 30 minutes) then transfer to cube and add the flavour hop addition.

How to get started in Cider. The definitive(ish) guide to beginner&#39

I'm having a crack at this Cider gig with a batch of 50/50 apple / pear juice from Coles. A couple of questions for the pros: 1. Has anyone had good results with oak chips? If so, how much and how long do you soak them for? 2. Is it best to transfer to a secondary or is bottle ageing OK? 3...

As per the pictures, there is heaps of...

Beer Choices For Christmas - Uk

A pub nearby to me has Thornbridge Jaipur on hand pump :icon_drool2: The Kernel Brewery in London is definitely worth looking out for as well! The beer scene here in the UK is totes amazeballs. I don't even need to brew to get decent beer. In fact I'd be missing out on the huge range that is...

    Diy Stainless Jacketed Fermenters

Your initial idea will use more power than individual fridges. It's all about heat gain from the surrounding environment. Unless you insulate those 44gal drums they will pick up heat and have your liquid chiller running flat out all the time. Some options I envision: 1. Multiple fridges and...

    RecipeDB - DrSmurto's Landlord

I had TTL off the hand pump in Lincoln last weekend and it was amazing! It is way more fruity / floral than the bottled version. It was juicy, sort of like lichee. Then I discovered Timothy Taylor Ram Tam on hand pump. OMG :icon_drool2: Shame I can't find it in London at all :(
