I live in the Hunter Valley and my results were in the postbox on Tuesday morning. However I have received letters from the UK faster than ones posted in Western Sydney! So hang in there guys...I'm sure you'll get your results tomorrow. Cheers Geoff :unsure:

Yes...I received my feedback in the mail this morning and I must say that,without exception, it has been comprehensive and inciteful. I even received two critiques from Barry Cranston, one for my American IPA and one for my Wheat Beer! I was really pleased to receive my blue rosette for first...

Got to agree with labrooy in relation to drinking time for wheat...i.e. ASAP. Just took 1st place for Wheat Beer at the NSW Comp...only 20 days from pitching the yeast to the judging table!!! I'm going to have to brew a fresh batch for the National Comp in October...because the first batch...

Hi Florian... Please don't think I'm whinging about this...but the wheat was second at ANAWBS too...If anything maybe the time between when the wheat was brewed in late June and judged in October was too long...Also remember that the beers which were second and third in NSW ended higher than...

I received my scoresheets last week too...I was a bit disappointed since my wheat beer had come 1st in the NSW Comp but was placed last at the AABC...However it was understandable as I had brewed the batch at the end of June for the NSW Comp in August but as I suspected it didn't last until...

I have to echo sned99's comments about the inconsistent scoring between beers entered in the NSW and ANAWBS comps...Beers that received a high score in one competition were bombed in the other and vice versa...No doubt I will have to wait for the arrival of the judges score sheets to see where...

Got Packet of Soft Licorice from wife! Plus picked up new Airedale Terrier pup from Newcastle airport first thing. Spent rest of day building pen for new pup. Say, when will results from NSW Brewing Comp be released? :)
