    Is this over the top?

Got this put together on the 29th, pitched the yeast @ 20c & holding @ 20c, temp controlled. I will dry hop when I take the collar off. It sure looked and smelled terrific when I was mixing it. :D :super: Now comes the waiting & just as soon as I bottle this I am putting the Coopers draught...

Thanks, yes, my kit came with a bottle filler, they work great but I may have had the tap all the way open, next time I will take it slower.

I think on my next bottling I will turn the valve on just enough to slowly fill my bottles, I may have been too aggressive this time & likely had it open all the way causing too much motion in the FV, we shall see. I am learning as I go. :chug: Thanks for all the input

    Humor me, just an observation

Started cold crashing it this morning, I cranked it to as low as it will go, so far 4.9C or 40.8F, it may go just a bit lower. I will keep it there for a week or so & see how it is. Here in Oklahoma when summer comes if you did not have temp control your SOL when it comes to brewing. okie1

    Humor me, just an observation

Everything is sanitized, sanitized, sanitized with Starsan, all the same & these are new pet bottles that came with my kit so I can rule out most problems. I am just bottling directly from my new Coopers DIY ferment vessel. I understand that the last few bottles may contain more of what is on...

Excuse me if I misrepresented myself, I am speaking of the numerical center such as bottle # 15, not the physical center, but thanks for the input. okie1

    Humor me, just an observation

After about 25 days in primary @ about 19C I bottled my beer after FG was reached, but before hand I numbered my bottles 1-30 then bottled. Now here is my observation, I let my bottles carb for 4 weeks @ 18C & have tried a few during that time, I noticed that the numbers in the center of the lot...

If I can make it one more week!?!? UGH!

I gave it go last evening & I can say that it beats anything I can buy around here. I will wait another week and do so again. I wish there were local brew stores close, the nearest is at least an hours drive each way so can't do that and keep costs down, have to use the internet.

If I can make it one more week!?!? UGH!

If I can make it one more week!?!? UGH!

The thing is, it must be good beer to pass the Mrs. seal of approval, then it is onward and upward with no end in site. This is the good time of life, three years retired & loving every moment.

If I can make it one more week!?!? UGH!

Greetings, just a follow up of my first brew, I started this on April the 4th, 3 weeks in FV @ 18c, bottled it and now has been 2 weeks conditioning @17c, I will wait one more week before giving it a try. I will say the Coopers DIY kit has it right, simply the easiest way to brew for a beginner...

New here with a few questions

Just an update, I studied for the last few months & read everything I could & did tons of research on the subject of home brewing, finally on April the 4th I went for it. Funny, with all the studying, when the day came to brew it went off without a hitch, everything went perfectly. Today is the...
