    Hey ... I thought I would try to aerate my wort as I was pouring it into the fermenter by splahing and pouring water in from a height.. Wort was still 30 degrees, now I have have just read wort must we chilled before doing this as it can cause oxidation.. omg I have wort in chiller now...

    Venting Fridge From Gases

    Just scored a fridge for my fermenters and was wondering if it were necessary to vent it to allow all the gases out . I know what its like then I open the fermenter lid.. just didnt want to open door and drop dead... plus I could imagine some gases seeping into the wort again .. thanks
