    Beer Show On C31

    I've watched a couple of shows online (if you go to the channel 31 website). The shows are pretty reasonable considering the community tv environment. I have noticed they are quite critical of local microbreweries in their beer review segments mainly because of beers being "not true to style"...

    The Gremlins Have Stolen My Saaz

    Same thing happened with saaz hopped pilsner. were bought stored in a plastic bag and not vaccum sealed. Left too long in the fridge and god knows how long in the fridge in the shop. Lesson learnt - buy and use fresh

    Steeping Grains

    Hi guys. Im pretty new to brewing and was wondering if it would be technically possible to brew a beer from steeping, say 4kg or so of a speciality grain and 1kg of a malt extract to make up the difference. Would the brew turn out OK ? Cheers Dan

    Reducing Water Content

    Hi guys. This is my first post since joining. I've put down two kit and extract brews in the last couple of months - a pale ale and a wheat beer. Just wondering about what effect reducing the volume would have (other than increasing the alcohol content !) on the overall flavour etc of the brew...
