Yep, Did the old Stout in 2L Coke bottle many times at the cricket years ago. God it made test cricket good to watch! But yeah as they say now they sniff ya brew! No nose hair in my stout brother !!! :angry: :P

Question. Why is it so easy to overcarb a keg full of beer (as i seem to do often enough), and yet i cant overcarb my beer in a p.e.t bottle when i force carbonate it ? Heeeeeeelp

I dont use an Aeration system. Well i do, but not a pump. With my last 3 brews, i have ditched the hose from the kettle to the fermenter. I now just open the tap on the kettle and aim for the 60L fermenter getting mega foaming/aeration ! Man, my last 3 brews have gone off like rockets ! little...

Never had that mud, but i have had the mash ' squeeze in ' from the sides of the tun, on a fast sparge. Never had chaneling or lumps/balls. God Bless the RIMS, :P
