Question.

Why is it so easy to overcarb a keg full of beer (as i seem to do often enough), and yet i cant overcarb my beer in a p.e.t bottle when i force carbonate it ?

Heeeeeeelp

Simple answer...from my point of view....

Kegs have pressure on them all the time, constantly absorbing the CO2, result o/carbed beer. Your PET bottle gets a burst of High Pressure co2 and then released...no over carb

Bet the kegs arent over carbed when you put them on the gas at first???

all this and no search button....whoa!

Thankyou Sir Linz, i should have asked you first (as i usually do )
I think you sounds right in your answer...
But over 2000 brewers couldnt or wouldnt attemp a reply !
On ya mate, :beerbang:

Gazz,

I would've replied if I'd seen it in time

But then, I also might have blamed it on the RIMS :p
It's a little known fact that you can't operate a RIMs and a Crankenstien Mill in the one site. If you do you'll have problems with carbonation as they upset the cosmic balance.

You'd better hand one or the other over!

See Trev, if you were not playing about with buckets all day, you would have seen it in time !!! :p :p

Oh and Trev,
Im not handing either over !
You can have my Mrs before you can have me RIMS :p

Gazz,

You're not calling your missus a "Crankandstien" are you??
