    Ebay, Gumtree and FB Marketplace

Not bad, but it won't stay that price for long. For anyone wondering, niagara park is just West of The Entrance, North of Gosford

    Converted Fire Extinguisher

It takes a special kind of ******** to figure out how to self-immolate with a fire extinguisher

    Converted Fire Extinguisher

If you're patient and keep checking you will find one on grays online or ebay for well under $100. When I got mine I just had a saved search on ebay which sent me an update every day with newly listed items having "extinguisher" in the title. Took about three weeks for one to come up from a...

    Earthing A Bucket Of Death

Didn't we talk about you posting in electrical threads?

    Earthing A Bucket Of Death

Yes, both need to be earthed.

    Earthing A Bucket Of Death

No flaming, though I did have difficulty working out what was going on. My idea of a bucket o' death is just that - a bucket, or fermenter. You'd have a hard time earthing a plastic vessel :) Yes, the pot needs to be earthed. However, if the element is screwed to the pot so that there's a solid...

Fix For Crown Urn Boiling Issues

hmm...disappointing. Some silicone down there should hold it an place and seal it up pretty good, no?

    March Pump Substitute

Nice pump, but still only good to 80, and no mention of food grade, though the materials list indicates it should be fine for food up to its operating temps. Probably okay for pre-boil transfer though, which should be sufficient if you layout your plumbing so you can gravity feed to cube or...

How Have You Setup Your Camlocks?

Best to have males on your vessels and females on your hoses, because the arms on the females fold back and might run into your valves/vessel walls etc. I've had to go the other way because they were out of stock of the M-BSP to M-camlock in half inch, but I'm lucky in that the arms just line up...

They're only $19 at geordi in Cheltenham. You reckon you're gonna find someone parting with them for less?

    Ebay, Gumtree and FB Marketplace

forget them dude. A brew cupboard is one of the more useless things you could add to a brewery. Sure, it keeps them out of sight and out of the way, but so what? the brewery isn't supposed to be pretty. It doesn't provide any temperature control, and anything you could do to insulate it would be...

    Hold that thought, Bill.

    2200 Element-installing In A Keg?

No, actually, if the contacts were screw terminals as I first surmised, a welded socket wouldn't prevent people from touching the contacts any more than using the socket as a nut would. How exactly do you think you're less likely to get electrocuted by getting a socket welded in? In what way...

    2200 Element-installing In A Keg?

Figured they were just screw terminals. If it's got a plug, like a kettle (IEC) plug that mates with the contacts, there's no drama. Doesn't matter whether the socket is welded into place or used as a nut.
