    Although i have not done a recipe for this exact beer i have done one for the Green Flash IPA. (Link will be at the end.) I had a can of the Torpedo the other day and ill say it's pretty darn close and a great brew showcasing East Coast hops. Definitely recommend doing it any way...

    Thanks Coodgee, I think im in your boat of an overhopper. I recently did a west coast IPA green flash extarct clone. I thought even the dry hops in that could be raised. I do use different hops regularly so i may sub for ones i may have. Ill keep you posted.

    Actually you brought up a good point too. I have found these also to be down on the abv. Most finish approx around 4% mark. Watered down? Not sure. Any how im probably not going to purchase any for a while.

    Popped out and got a heat pad under. She is popping away again. And this mornings reading was 1010. So happy about that. Should be sorted soon then onto my Double IPA

    It was a fresh Wort kits from esb. it was a pale ale and the original gravity was just below 1050. I did a comparison brew with dry yeast. I used an 05 in a brew right next to it. That went to 1008. Thus the reasons i ask. I am only on extract as i dont have the room nor equipment to do my calcs.
