My first attempt, It was a free ginger beer kit (i quite like ginger beer)
I think i must have left it in the fermenter too long, Because it went from a ginger beer into a ginger vinegar.. Tastes absolutely f***ing horrible
;) hahah I think i'll be a little more careful next time
My freshly bottled cider.
Just finished today (6/05/2013)

I cracked another bottle open and gave this one a sip!
Very dry! tasty, but it's lacking something. There's no aftertaste :(
Not as much carbonation as I would have liked but it's definitely drinkable.
I paired this with a beautiful chicken meal, and it went down...
1 of 4 bottles i have left conditioning, Definitely getting better. keep an eye on my updates and i'll let you know how its doing in about a month or so

its currently sitting at just under 1.040

I used 1kg of Lactose...
Had a batch size of only about 5 Litres
hit the fermenter on the 5/04/2013
I added Pomegranate and a hint of raspberry, I got 6 - 740ml bottles out the batch.
I've drank 2 of them so far,
Both very dry, with a very slight tangy taste, incredibly smooth.
goes down pretty easily if you're not...
I'm onto my 4th Apple cider at the moment, it's sitting in the fermenter bubbling away and i just wanted to share my experiences with the first cider i made.
