    Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get a gas burner for my brew kettle? I'm currently using an old camping gas stove but it takes a while to get 30 odd litres of wort to a boil. Cheers Mick.

    Wow 2 weeks is great! Especially from the state's. Looks like I'll be placing a 3.5lb order today. How to you guys store your hops? I usually keep them in their original package inside an airtight container at the back of the fridge. Any other suggestions?

Hoping someone has some first hand experience on what they do for bittering. I'm just looking for ways to cut cost so instead...

    Just wondering if anyone could tell me if it really makes any difference what hops you use for bittering? As long as you get the AA you want of course.

    Interesting stuff, my next brew will be a dry lager using just pils malt and rice so a good rest at the 45-53c range would be beneficial to clear up the end product?

    Good idea, I'm not use to buying bulk grain but looking at the savings it seems stupid not to.

    Ok thanks, good to know coz I've got 40kg of 2 row coming... I was planning on dividing into 5kg bags and vac sealing anyway. I feel for you having to throw that marris otter out too, definitely tear worthy.
