I did a double batch that has been kegged for about 2 weeks. One keg turned pale at the end, photographed is the last beer from that keg. Is is supposed to be an amber ale like the glass from the other keg. I suspect that one cube did not have the starsan emptied out and has a higher gravity...

THe braid is too slow and prone to stick

This works just right. A SS strainer tied to a base to keep the muck out

and a silly question, what is a collar? ive just got my kegs and think perhaps you refer to the plastic fitting on top?
if thats the case than ive just measured my kegs an my type will do easy

seems pretty straight forward to me but i know from experience that assumption is the mother of all cock-ups.

I've done a few of these lagers all 100% NS. When I no chill I treat the cube as a 10min addition and add the final hops to a litre of boiling water for a few minutes before adding to the fermenter (once all done and at 1C). Never an infection and great aroma, the addition looks like green...
