I did that with my first brew using any malt, i just dumped a kilo straight into the fermenter after putting my hot liquid in. It took me a good 15min to stir in all the lumps :P

The wiring is dead easy, they give you very easy instructions. If you cant im sure you have someone you know that has the know how and will do it for a six pack of your next temp controlled brew :D
All this talk of take overs and absorption, its not like they dont have the money to set themselves up. That puts becoming the 3rd top megaswill by 2012 a very ambitious goal.

I cant see why they have to get rid of it, i find it almost therapeutic brewing beer. Why not make some every now and then to give to friends?
