not at all, main thing you have to worry about is that it doesnt go to far above 22, i don't even worry about heating my fermenter up these days, i have a fridge set up for fermenting have a controller on the make sure it doesnt get above 20 and i dont worry about it getting cold, not in perth...

where in the northern suburbs? i might be doing an all grain brew this weekend if you bring some beers round lol

i agree where has the old management gone? should track them down for a job i have my $50 fridge from ebay plugged into a controller from TWOC in bibra lake, but i'm going to change it over to a fridgemate controller from craftbrewer, i went from 1 kit straight into full AG, much more...

the update is i brought is, i brought RIMS Tube off brewershardware, bit cheaper and easier to clean

i def like the look of raven's RIMS but i don't have the ability or contacts to make one of those, and not sure how much it would cost to get a fabricator to make one, so threaded S/S pipe fittings would be easy to put together and take apart for cleaning,

everything i want is on their, will probably be placing an order shortly, thanks for the help!

Not much but here's what i've been using for a few decent brews drawers aren't usually there had them there at the time i could be bothered taking photo's when i get back from the uk next month i'm going to start putting together a 2x pump single teir RIMS setup

This is my set up so far, started out with old fridge which i also used for a fermenting fridge with a beer gun when the 1 keg i had was empty then i went an brought a $30 chest freezer and started kitting it out and more recently in the last couple days another keg and tap turned up...

G'day just wondering, has anyone made a RIMS tube using S/S pipe fittings using 1 1/2" or 2" fittings, seen one set up from a guy in the states using 2" pipe fittings, and the site he lists as his supplier, super cheap prices, the prices i'm getting from in Australia are ridiculous, Tees...

now there's an idea that makes sense, brb, might end up changing the probe, i've heard the ones that come with the fridgemates aren't to accurate?

1st tap came in the mail today, have another tap and another keg coming in the next couple days i have tested it a few times already tonight, ya know just to make sure it works lol
