Yeah figured it would be a common problem since it has to chill the wort so much. The fridge would hold cold and further chill. Once you get it to temp it's fine though give or take 1c. Guess I'll just have to keep a close eye on them for the first 6-12 hours :)

I'm pretty careful, I keep a close eye on them as I never want to run dry hehe. As soon as I have some empty kegs a I plan a new batch, I've got 2 of 5 kegs empty at the moment, almost 3 so I've got 1 fermenting now and 2 planned :) Edit - And if I get REALLY low I'll grab some James Squier...

From the tap to my mouth ;) No, on an honest note I LOVE beer glasses so I try to use a glass to style but I'll really have to start chilling my glasses I think. Beer seems to pour and look so much nicer that way :)

I've never had one (well a detectable one according to the posts above) in 2 years of brewing *touch wood*. I think it's very important to use a good no rise sanitisers (I use Starsan) and make sure you're cleaning everything, all your utensils that will touch the wort including hoses, spoons...

Ahhh bottles, I had to clean some last night after kegging for 6 months. It's a flat out pain in the ass huh! Would be nice if the dishwasher worked.
