Here's my "me too!":
White Shield IPA very closely followed by SNPA.

Cripes, you're right! Wonder if its similar in characteristics? Have you tried it? Might see if I can grab a sixer tonight for Day 2 of the cricket. Has it been out long?

In the words of the Ladies man Leon Phelps " I tried it once in the 80's and i did not enjoy it".

It was ok, seems to be a beer pointed at the swillers. Its not your run of the Mill Cali Steam, its a light hybrid lager esque beer.

When you find one or make one let me know. I love hophog.. apparently it has changed quite alot. I know at one stage it was heavily hopped with galaxy.

I've been getting into pales in a big way lately. In my fridge at the moment i have pigs fly, matilda bay alpha and sierra nevada. Pigs fly definitely comes in at number 3, but i cant split the other 2, maybe the snpa at number 2 and the apa at number 1 because it's a lot bigger.

Hey guys, glad to here some of you rate the kooi as a great pale ale in the Aussie market. I agree with 4 star that it is a hoppy Pale without being an IPA, we feel it is different to many of the other pales on the Aussie market. But if you think thats hoppy keep and eye out for the "KOOINDA IPA 5 MINUTE HOP HURRICANE" Mick and I are planning this recipe at the moment and are looking at using an array of the great American hops, our hop back and dry Hopping it. Hops mmm......... Fingers crosses
