Hey-ho

I was looking on gumtree for a water drum I can use as the reservoir for cooling water (either to run through an immersion, plate or counter-flow chiller) and came across these 220L drums.

Anyway, will probably grab one for that purpose ... but would you ferment in something like this?

Cheers

If it's food quality I don't see why you couldn't. That's a hell lot of beer though.

It is entirely achievable. The two main cons that spring to mind is weight if you need to move it (with careful planning wouldnt be an issue) and that is a lot of the same beer.

You may have to watch the heat generated while fermenting in that much volume.
