On Friday night, there's a live gig at the Yarraville Club celebrating the 45th anniversary of the release of their 1st album (to the day!).

I've scored a free double-pass, but SWMBO isn't into my taste in music. 'Thought someone else from here would welcome the 2nd slot.

Local Muso's will be playing the entire 1st album (plus selected "other" favourites). Doors & support acts at 7.30, finish around 11.15.

I'll be driving from Kinglake (but won't be drinking/driving). 'Can give a local "Westie" a ride home (within reason!!).

1st-in, best dressed!

Edit: PM me for hook-up & details.

just play SWMBO 'Planet Caravan' followed up with 'and they're all like that honey!'.

Loved the Classic Albums special on that album. Sounds like top gig. Saw the Dio verson of Black Sabbath on the 'Heaven and Hell' tour about 5 years ago, was more Spinal Tap than Sabbath unfortunately...but fun nonetheless including hydraulics-enhanced drum solo!

Nah, she knows too much already (a constant battle I have with her with just about EVERYTHING!!).

I tried her on "Laguna Sunrise" once & she liked it, but then......

'Hard-core 80's fan, unfortunately :icon_vomit:

Funny, I've been listening to my (recently-reclaimed-from- the-death-grip-of-a-mate) vinyl collection today & the fist LP's I listened-to were Heaven & Hell, followed by "Mob Rules". That's despite having Original 1st-edition (UK) pressings of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" & "Vol. 4" with their original price stickers on them (in pounds Stirling).

Go figure!
